Third Pole Series is a monthly discussion platform where private sectors can share their concerns, challenges in climate action as well as get guidance and suggestions for climate action. Its specific objective is to engage the private sector with climate action organizations and communities to ensure sustainability and wellbeing of mountain communities. In the last few years, there has been immense willingness from the private sector to transfer their business towards climate sensitive and climate responsive.

However we feel there have been some gaps, especially the technical understanding gaps. Thus, it is important for the sector to understand matters regarding climate change, policies, and climate finance and what best fits their business. This kind of platform will be crucial for fostering synergies among different stakeholders working toward their individual and collective contributions to regional climate adaptation, as well as for furthering business-led climate action.
