On 29th January, we held the fourth edition of the Third Pole Series titled “Carbon Trading Regulation 2082: What does it mean for the Nepalese private sector?” at Confederation of Nepalese Industries.

For this edition we had Dr. Prem Kumar Pokhrel, PhD, Director at Prakriti Consult Pvt. Ltd. as our resource person. With over 15 years of expertise in the field of climate action, renewable energy and carbon auditing, he explained what entails in a carbon project cycle, its procedures and how the recently approved Carbon Trading Regulation 2082 plays a significant role. This interactive session led to relevant queries and engaging discussion between Dr. Pokhrel and the participants, who came from various private organizations and INGOs.
